If a blog falls off into the void, does it make a sound?

Sadly, unfortunately, all previous iterations of my blogs are gone.

(Well, not GONE gone. My previous hosting company is holding a backup hostage - they want me to open a new contract with them. I just want to pay the bill and get the backup DVD and move on.)

Things are otherwise thinging. I can't say that I'll post with any more regularity than I had before, but at least there's this.
